Being a hybrid moniker, the 2022 Accord Hybrid is expected to excel in the frugality front and fortunately, it doesn't disappoint. Equipped with a CVT automatic transmission and coming with the impressive I-VTEC system means that the Accord Hybrid sips very less fuel even when pushed hard. This mid-size sedan gave out 44 mpg in the city and 41 mpg on the highways.
The combined gas mileage of 43 mpg is in line with its rivals, too. Get into the impressive cabin of the Honda Accord Hybrid and you would not be disappointed with the space and luxury on offer, making it easily the best offering of the mid-size hybrid sedan segment. The LED headlights with sharp LED DRLs, chrome accent on the grille, blacked-out air dam, and the best-in-class width of 73.3" add to the character of this sedan. We also loved the 19" wheels of the top-of-the-line Hybrid Touring trim, sharp character lines, and the chrome window bezels. The rear end looks comparatively bland and is only uplifted with the help of LED taillight and bulky bumpers.

Being a family sedan from Honda, safety is one of the sections which has seen no compromises at all. The suspension is reasonably stiff and that does a good job in ironing out all the irregularities on the road with ease. Even the biggest of the potholes do not unsettle the car by any means. However, the tire noise and road noise do creep into the cabin at these speeds.
2 Interior Looks And Feels Premium
The interior of the 2022 Honda Accord Hybrid comes filled with soft-touch plastics, gloss black elements, perforated leather upholstery, and polished aluminum inserts. All of these make the Accord Hybrid look and feel much more expensive than what it is, especially when compared to the likes of the Hyundai Sonata Hybrid and Toyota Camry Hybrid.
The chunky steering wheel comes wrapped in leather, and the same is applied to the gear lever as well. The dashboard and door cards look classy due to the full black setup with contrasting elements, and the infotainment system is integrated quite seamlessly. There are no major fitment issues and the panel gaps are petty consistent throughout.
1 Top-Notch Braking Performance
The braking of the 2022 Honda Accord Hybrid is handled by the same 12.3" front rotors and 11.1" rear rotors. The front rotors are ventilated and all the braking features like ABS, automated emergency braking, hill hold control, EBD, brake assist, and many more are offered as standard. Overall, the braking performance is superb, and the driver would have no complaints about it.
Dab on the brake pedal and the strong initial bite could be easily felt. We were surprised by the superb feel and feedback on offer from the brake pedal, which is not the case with many offerings that come with the regenerative braking system. The braking progression is excellent too. The 235 section tires coupled with the car's low curb weight and magnificent braking hardware helped the Accord Hybrid achieve a 60-0 mph braking distance of 135 feet.
