The Dodge Daytona has to be one of the most iconic NASCAR’s of all time. Created in 1969 after Dodge lost that year's Daytona 500 by inches, no one had ever seen a car like it before when it made its debut later in the 1969 season. Its streamlined nose and rear wing became iconic stand-out features of the Daytona. At the auction, these cars are incredibly desirable, and one is set to go under the hammer pretty soon with Mecum Auctions, who are selling off this 1969 example of the Daytona as part of the Walter Hawk Collection.
