Looking after our cars is something very important. Not just mechanically, but also when it comes to the exterior too. For one, it will ensure the value of the car stays solid if we ever come to sell it. And two, it just looks better in general and keeps the car in as good condition as possible. You are probably going to be more invested in keeping your car in good condition if it's an expensive, and fast, supercar. Such as the Pagani Huayra Roadster BC.
So, that means when this video appeared on YouTube, uploaded by ESOTERIC, it caught our eye. The title reads that this is a $4.5 million car wash ASMR video, and the car featured is indeed the Huayra Roadster BC. This is one of the most fascinating and satisfying videos to watch, and something pretty unique as well. The video goes into great detail on some areas of the car, and the best thing is there is no commentary at all. Just relaxing sounds of this one of 40 supercars being washed and given the clean that it truly deserves.
Getting Started With The Car Wash
The video states that for the best experience, you should watch it with high-qualify audio headphones. The wheels are the first part of the car to get a clean, with them initially being sprayed before the water is added. The brush gets right between the wheels and slides in and out, hopefully removing as much dirt as possible. A more regular brush then goes around the rest of the wheels, before they undergo another spray. Finally, the wheels are jetwashed, and we can see them in their full, clean glory.
The car then undergoes a chemical decontamination, and it's so relaxing watching the spray just roll off the car and onto the floor. Next, it's time to add the foam to the Pagani. This is one of the most satisfying parts of the video to watch, as the cleaner applies it all over the car, covering it in white and hiding that glorious rear paintwork. The sounds are incredible and there is something quite satisfying seeing the car hide behind this foam, with barely a hint of red visible as it coats the car. The next task is to actually handwash the supercar.
Handwashing The Huayra Roadster BC
Next come some more very nice sounds as the sponge is dipped into the bucket to soak up the water. The sponge gracefully goes over the surfaces such as the back bodywork, the rear wing and the area around the exhausts. Watching the sponge gradually wipe away the foam to once again reveal the car is weirdly very attention grabbing. The car then gets another full spray, this time with water, to jetwash the last of the foam off the car and what the sponge wasn’t able to soak up.
Next up, it is time for the drying process. Almost the finale of this epic video. A cloth gently goes over the front of the Pagani, and watching the drops of water disappear is perhaps the most satisfying part of this entire video. The wet surface is hidden, only to reemerge as this gloriously clean car, shining bright under the lighting of the washing shop. It is such a soft and gentle drying process that ensures the bodywork of the car is not scratched. A blow dry is of course needed for some areas, such as around the wheels and in between the spokes.
More Satisfying Car Sounds
As a bit of a bonus feature, the video also includes some other sounds to round out the wash. These are just some general noises that the car can make as you use it. Noises such as the straps for the front trunk being opened before the area underneath gets a bit of a blow dry. Then there is the sound of the engine cover getting lifted, and the roof getting taken off the car, before we get some more glorious strap sounds. Even the sounds of the key getting placed into the car and the gear lever operating are so relaxing to listen too.
The Pagani Huayra Roadster BC Itself
Of course, we should finish with a quick look at the car itself. The Pagani Huayra Roadster BC is a track focussed version of the Pagani Huayra, and there is plenty of power for this car. It’s an AMG V12 powered monster that has an amazing 791 hp, and it sits on some rather special bespoke Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires. A Xtrac seven-speed automated manual transmission helps to give an incredible feeling out on the track. It's certainly a car that warrants a highly expensive car wash to keep it in tip-top condition.
