Drift cars aren't supposed to do donuts around a police car. Police officers could misconstrue such actions as disrespect to persons in authority. Nonetheless, pro-drift racer and famous YouTuber Adam LZ (Adam Lizotte-Zeisler) and his drifting buddies recently did so with their fancy drives and sports cars. Are they asking for some tickets? LZ's latest video on YouTube tells the whole story and more.

Drift Cars Doing Donuts Around A Cop Car

LZ and his drifting buddies were actually heading to Houston, Texas, for Drift Week at SpeedSportz Racing Park. On their way, a police car showed up. The next thing they knew, LZ and his drift companions – in their fancy drives – were in an empty parking lot driving donuts around the police car.

Instead of pulling a book of tickets from his pocket, the police officer grabbed his smartphone and started filming the spectacle. It was a one-of-a-kind surreal experience, even for the drift drivers. Nobody would have thought that they'd be doing donuts around an actual police car. Normally, they would be pulled over.

Harrison Johnson, also a pro-drift racer like LZ, was kind enough to accommodate LZ and friends for the night, giving them a place to rest and check their drives. LZ actually brought his beloved Nissan Silvia S15, which was heavily modified for drifting purposes. Aside from its impressive body kit and brownish orange finish, LZ's S15 boasts 900 wheel horsepower coming from its 3.4-liter 2JZ engine.

Soon, LZ and other Drift Week participants were drifting their drives at the SpeedSportz Racing Park, which is actually designed for go-kart racing. The course is very technical with several corners and challenging hairpins. LZ was certainly having a great day, even allowing up to three passengers to ride while he attacked the track.
