Going on two decades now, the MK IV Toyota Supra remains at the top of every JDM fanboy's list of dream cars.

After spending the first ten years of its life as a bulky, under powered sports car — according to some — the Supra's tuning talents were thrust into the world's view after it stole the show during the original Fast and The Furious movie.

Similar to the rest of the cars featured in the franchise, values continue to skyrocket with no end in sight.

With the best examples becoming virtually unobtainable, whether it's due to their six-figure valuation or because of current owners never wanting to part ways with them, finding a moderately-priced Supra can be difficult.

Thankfully for us, we have YouTuber Adam LZ and his YouTube channel to live vicariously through as he continues his new car week after a handful of his latest imports all arrived at his Florida property at the same time.

After debuting a Toyota Chaser, an M3-swapped E36 BMW, a clapped-out E46 M3 BMW, and the fabled AE86 Toyota Sprinter Trueno, Adam decides to reveal his ultra-rare, Royal Sapphire Purple Supra.

It's A Dream Come True For Adam LZ With The A80 Toyota Supra

Similar to the AE86, viewers of Adam oft wonder how this self-proclaimed JDM fanboy hasn't yet owned a Supra - but in a moment of vulnerability, Adam discloses that although he understands and likes the MK IV Supra, he isn't as obsessed as the rest of the world — except for one caveat.

That caveat being the Royal Sapphire Purple paint scheme his new Supra currently boasts.

Because for those unfamiliar with Supra lore, this particular shade of purple remains one of the most desirable Supras, with most models running well over the six-figure mark — even for the naturally-aspirated engine, like Adam's.

Eyeing down the quintessential "1,000 horsepower Supra" memes, Adam plans to push this car to the limit and reach four-figure power numbers before the year is over; however, now it was time for Adam to chuck his Supra around the makeshift circuit on his Florida property.

After quenching the Supra's thirst with some race fuel, Adam felt confident enough that the car could be the fastest car of his new car week, but, due to the Supra's current weight, he felt the E36 would remain the current champion.

Quickly realizing the Supra isn't building enough boost, the look of concern washes over Adam's face as he wonders if there are some massive boost leaks.

After some warm up laps though, the notion that the E36 is faster is quickly laid to rest after flying around the circuit in 33.08 seconds — even after only building two pounds of boost.

Leaving us wondering, just how quickly will it circle the compound once the Supra reaches the 1,000 horsepower mark.
