Here at HotCars, we love a crazy car rendering. Whether that be based upon a real car, an upcoming car, or just some wild rendering. We love them all here. And there seems to be a Cyberpunk trend of renderings going on right about now. That’s probably mostly down to Cyberpunk 2077 having recently come out for us all to play. And to that end, we have a fantastic Cyberpunk rendering to look at here. This is a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 that has received the Cyberpunk treatment.
2077 Shelby GT500
This rendering has been created by Rostislav Prokop and has been uploaded onto his Instagram page. He has a wealth of renderings on his page and is an incredibly talented freelance designer, so you should check him out! The Shelby GT500 of course is one of the special, high-performance variants of the Ford Mustang and it is now in its third generation. This though is a very different looking GT500!
We need to draw our attention to the paint scheme first. It is in a split livery, with matte black down one side and matte turquoise down the other side. It has a massive front splitter and air scoops over the hood, and in fact, is almost unrecognizable from an original GT500. Rostislav states, “It's 2077, and this is mine, over a hundred years old, Shelby, who was built to kick all the asses.” This would certainly do that, and it would fit right in with the Cyberpunk 2077 world.
A Mustang Underneath
It is perhaps when we get to the rear of the car that we can tell that this is in fact, a Mustang underneath when all is said and done. The distinctive rear taillights are clearly visible, the long thin rectangles lighting up red. Although what is clearly very different is the massive rear spoiler on the back. The car has also been lowered and has much bigger wheels and tires as well as enlarged wheel arches. Its sporty credentials are even more evident when you see the roll cage in the back of the car, and the front grille is something completely distinctive to this car too.
