The Toyota Land Cruiser has evolved so much through several decades. Nevertheless, many people are still longing for older, classic ones. That kind of demand may have some issues, though, since older Toyota Land Cruiser might not be as great looking and comfortable as before. But this Land Cruiser FJ62 is an exemption thanks to comprehensive restoration from Legacy Overland.

Restored Yet Looks Like Fresh From Factory

Legacy Overland restored this Toyota Land Cruiser FJ62 to the point that it still delivers the classic feeling and heritage while being up-to-date with some modern features. Starting with its exterior, this Land Cruiser FJ62 seems it jumped to the future fresh from factory. The vintage aura of this classic SUV primarily comes from its body finished in classic Toyota Dune Beige with a raptor-painted underbody.

The company restored or refurbished several exterior parts or elements. For instance, it features satin black rearview mirrors with front and rear side grilles. It rides on restored body-colored wheels with chrome lug nuts, wrapped in four Cooper Discoverer ST Maxx 31/10.5 R15 tires. It has a spare wheel-and-tire set mounted under the rear cargo floor as well. This restored FJ62 comes with new headlight lenses and standard colored rear lamps.

A Classic Interior With Modern Amenities

The exterior’s color scheme continues inside, with handcrafted Monza collection full grain beige leather wrapping the upper dash, lower side wall and sunvisors, and beige Alcantara fabric covering the roofliner. Leather also wraps the vehicle’s original front seats and rear bench.

More leather is also found on other parts and sections, including the shifter boots, handbrake, and grab handle. Monza collection full grain beige leather also covers the door cards, handles and pockets (with details in brown plastic) as well as the cubby box (with interior and tray in carpet material).

While the wooden rim steering wheel looks classic, other features have a modern touch such as the electric windows, power locks, temperature sensor, a big-screen Apple Car Play head unit. It also features a custom-made, high-capacity air conditioning system. The cabin also comes with integrated USB charging outlet, Pioneer double DIN sound system with integrated Bluetooth, Excalibur amplifier, and four JBL speakers on the doors.

Power comes from a rebuilt Toyota 4L 3F-E in-line six-cylinder engine, complemented with an overhauled automatic gearbox and rebuilt power steering. Also refurbished or rebuilt are the brakes, steering system and linkages, suspension system, mechanical parts, and radiator. Lastly, Legacy Overland has updated the electrical system.
