SEMA is a show that allows automakers and car enthusiasts to execute their wildest of automotive imaginations. Everyone from custom car designers and garages along with big automakers goes head-to-head to show how outrageous they can be. This year, Toyota turned up with a handful of modded concepts for its sports cars and its line of pick-up trucks. While some are outrageous, others more down-to-earth concepts that could make production. One such concept is the 2022 Toyota Tundra ‘Lifted and Accessorized’ which is a vehicle to showcase all the accessories the full-size truck will be available with. So here is what the full-size pick-up truck has to offer to take on the Ford F-150 and Chevy Silverado.

At SEMA, Toyota showcased a Supersonic Red 2022 Tundra Limited that features a lift kit and accessories along with the TRD Off-Road Package. That massive grille at the front helps keep the twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 motor cool. It churns out a healthy dose of 389hp and 479 lb-ft of torque. The power is sent to all the wheels through the 10-speed automatic gearbox as before.

However, the folks at TRD decided to up the ante quite literally with a 3-inch lift kit giving the Tundra an extra 2.6-inches of ground clearance while improving the approach, departure, and break-over angles of the truck. Additionally, the TRD Off-Road Package throws in a bunch of upgrades to make the Tundra even more capable off-road. The TRD package adds things like Multi-Terrain Select and CRAWL Control that is essentially off-road cruise control with up to five selectable speeds. The concept is also equipped with Downhill Assist Control and an electronic rear differential lock, both of which will do their thing to keep the Tundra going anywhere it wants, unhindered.

The new full-size pick-up truck is set to arrive at dealerships by the end of the year. The ‘Lifted and Accessorized’ SEMA concept Tundra is a showcase of all the accessories that will be made available for the truck when it is ready to hit the road. The TRD Desert Chase Tundra looks ready to take on the Baja 1000. The two GR Supra builds include the Heritage Concept is a 500+ hp model with retro style cues while the Sport Top Concept is a Targa roof convertible of a similar style.
