The electric revolution is in full swing, as car manufacturers all around the globe look to bring in more and more electric vehicles. With this new form of propulsion comes a chance to totally reinvent what a car can look like. The company Thundertruck has recently revealed their utterly bonkers Thundertruck electric truck, a truck that can go from four to six wheels and totally rips up the form book when it comes to how a vehicle can look.
Wild Looks Are The Tip Of The Iceberg
The truck itself actually comes from Wolfgans IP division, and its looks rival that of even Tesla and their ridiculous Cybetruck. The truck does bear some similarities to the Cybertruck, with its generally boxy like styling set and incredibly angular design, creating this truly aggressive looking monster. A roof rack above is a good indicator of the off-road intentions of this vehicle, further shown with it being on rather large off-road wheels and having an awful lot of ground clearance. The Thundertruck looks a bit more substantial than the Cybertruck, and adds a bit more bulk to the electric truck concept.
Unusual And Innovative Features
The truck has some interesting features, and one of which is its ability to have extra wheels. Thundertruck can supposedly be modified easily into a six-wheel-drive monster, that the company says can deliver unparalleled performance and power. Its most unusual feature is its bat wing solar awnings, that can recharge the truck in sunny locations when it is stationary. These also provide plenty of shade if you are camping, fishing or having a BBQ. This is all before we get into some stats behind this truck.
Plenty Of Range For Long Distance Travel
For those who like to go on long journeys, this truck has plenty of range to offer. The Thundertruck is allegedly going to offer some 560 miles of range in 6x6 form, or roughly 900km+, and that could increase thanks to its range extender, and 0-60 will be in an impressive 3.5 seconds, in 4x4 form. Not bad given that this truck will probably was quite a bit. In standard 4x4 form, it will offer some 400 miles of range. Power wise in that form, it will have a staggering 800 hp and that will go up to 940 hp if you get the 6x6 wheel arrangement. This is incredible levels of power.
