When it comes to designing any automobile, people have been known to push the extremes and come up with creations that are out of this world. Some do it as a profession while for others it is more of a hobby. Former Formula One driver Tarso Marques is no different — he designed his dream motorcycle. This was his dream for 15 years and he finally followed through creating a very weird, but still very eye-catching.
According to The Daily Mail, the TMC Dumont is clearly not your typical motorcycle. Seeing that it has 36-inch hubless wheels and it is powered by a vintage V6 Rolls Royce Continental aircraft engine and spits 300 horsepower. The TMC Dumont was showcased during the 77th Daytona Bike Week where it won the award for Best of Show.

Marques says that he would have built his bike earlier if he had the technology that he has now. He built this cool ride from pure Brazillian parts from all the body, chassis, and even the paintwork. He wanted everything to be perfect and authentic since this is, as he claims, his most expressive customization ever. The Dumont sits on 36-inch hubless wheels that were made by Tarso himself. Thye are perfectly fitted low on the motorcycle's rims and give the illusion that the bike is floating.
This bike's wheels are indeed the most eye-catching thing about the motorcycle. These unique wheels have no spokes or central hub making them one of a kind. For sure, this bike has set a bar for anyone looking to custom build their motorcycle. As for the speed and cost of the whole build, Marques is yet to disclose this information. He has however confirmed that the TMC Dumont is tributed to Alberto Santos Dumont who was a Brazilian inventor and aviation pioneer.
This motorcycle is indeed quite spectacular, but weird. Let us give it time and see if it will roll out for sale by next year. One thing we are sure of is that the TMC Dumont has changed the motorcycle customization industry.
