Toyota Gazoo Racing and Subaru have announced the presentation of a new co-developed vehicle. This will happen on April 5, 2021. “Let's make a good car together! Talk session,” says the announcement. Other details were not disclosed.

Cooperation between Toyota and Subaru began in 2005 with contract manufacturing of cars. After some time, the brands entered into an agreement to jointly develop a rear-wheel-drive sports car, which was sold as both the Toyota GT86 and the Subaru BRZ. In addition, Toyota is Subaru's largest shareholder.
