They are extremely durable and powerful, which is ideal for any terrain.

It Offers A More Sustainable Solution

Pickup trucks are often known to be petrol or diesel guzzling machines. However, the all-new 2022 Tundra seems to be leaning more towards sustainability, which will please the electric vehicle customers.

Tundra sales have fallen since 2008. Thus, the brand really needed to do something to grab the attention of the customers. If a hybrid engine is fitted into the new Toyota Tundra, which is what has been assumed, it will exceed the likes of its rivals, such as the GMC Sierra and RAM 1500, as neither have hybrid options or future ideas.

It is about time the pickup truck industry latched on to the EV world. Some already have such as the GMC Hummer and Tesla Cybertruck. However, these really push the boundaries with their pricing. Both fall into a price range of $80,000 and upwards. Unless you want to make a huge investment, these might not be your ideal entrance into the sustainable world of electric-ish pickup trucks.

The 2022 Tundra Will Out-Perform Its Competitors' Horsepower

The 2022 Toyota Tundra's best feature is arguably its iForce Max engine, which reportedly boasts more speed and power than the current Tundra, it should exceed more than 400 hp. This by far outweighs any of its rivals, such as the GMC Sierra's max output of 355 hp. If it can meet its expectations, then the 2022 Tundra will impress its audience.

To align with its power, the 2022 Tundra has been seen with impressive 32.5-inch all-terrain wheels, which will improve the comfort and ability of the pickup truck. They are all blacked-out, which amps up the overall appearance of the ride and aligns with bold and impressive expectations from its customers.

The 2022 Toyota Tundra looks set to be super hi-tech. Along with its futuristic ideas for its engine, the manufacturers have kitted out the new Tundra with Apple CarPlay and Infotainment systems, which is new for this Toyota pickup truck model.

The previous Tundra has attained pretty poor ratings for its interior. Thus, it seems that Toyota has taken the comments on-board and ensured to up their game.

Other interior features that align with current customer needs are JBL speakers, fun designs, and a large centeral touchscreen panel, which are all ideal for entertaining and pleasing the driver and their passengers.

We are still waiting on news regarding its safety features. Hopefully, it will improve its safety tech as the 2021 Tundra didn't standout for its safety tech. If not, it could be a pretty significant pitfall and allow its competition to outrival them if customers are all about safety.

Price May Be Its Big Sticking Point

Due to the reduction in sales since 2008, Toyota had to come up with a master plan for the 2022 Tundra in order to boost sales and beat its rivals. The previous prices of the Tundra are around $52,000. However, since the addition of the hybrid option V6 engine, prices may increase to more than $70,000 if its competition has anything to do with it.

The Ford F-150 retails for the $70,000 mark. If the 2022 Toyota Tundra exceeds that because of its new hybrid option engine, it could be its only downfall. However, we're still waiting to see the official price for the new Tundra.

If it is anything like its last model, it could average for around the $55,000 mark. However, if the new kit is expensive and challenging to install, it could spike the prices up. If they can, it might be worth them allowing customers to make the decision to upgrade so that they can keep standard prices low and attractive.

In summary, Toyota has really mastered the plan for their new 2022 Tundra. If they manage to meet the expectations, then they will likely be able to outshine their competition and stand ahead of the game. Let's hope so, as this would likely see a boost in Tundra model sales, which we think it's pretty deserving of.
