As the off-roading wars in Detroit heat up with the simultaneous official unveil of Ford's revived Bronco and Jeep's teaser of a 392-powered Rubicon model, recent purchasers of pickup trucks might feel like they were left in the lurch. Of course, a ton of aftermarket modifications can be bought to augment factory products like the Bronco, Wrangler, Gladiator, and Ford Raptor, though many will immediately void a vehicle's warranty.

There are, however, some aftermarket companies that partner with manufacturers to produce modified variants of standard vehicles, one of which is Tuscany Motor Co, a division of Fox Factory, which will sell anyone a custom ZRX off-road special through their local General Motors dealership.

All The Right Touches

The ZRX package takes a standard Chevrolet or GMC 1500-series pickup and ratchets everything up a notch, from performance to aesthetics on both the interior and exterior. The standard package includes an upgrade to 20-inch wheels shod in BF Goodrich KO2 all-terrain tires, plus a BDS Suspension setup that lifts the truck six inches with Fox 2.0 performance shocks at the rear and lateral stability bars to enhance the factory sway bar. A custom-tuned stainless steel exhaust system helps the engine breathe a bit better, as well.

Other upgrades that run the gamut from purely cosmetic to functional include running boards equipped with rock guards and running lights, new color-matched fender flares, an undercoating for the new suspension components, and plenty of ZRX exterior badging.

Optional add-ons include a carbon-fiber trim package for the interior, custom gauges, custom leather upholstery, and Tuscany logos on just about every surface. For GMC owners only, Tuscany will also replace the entire front bumper with a 40-inch LED light bar. The trucks and packages are only sold through the GM network of dealers.
