The world of car renderings is truly an interesting place. Digital artists can allow their imaginations to run riot and create some machines that perhaps nobody in the real world would dream of. Unless you are Tim Moceri and Salvage to Savage. Moceri and his team are creating a twin-turbo, LS custom DeLorean DMC-12 widebody restomod that is currently in the building process. But to show off the finished product, Khyzyl Saleem, @the_kyza on Instagram has created a rendering of the classic car and what it will ultimately look like.

Making A Twin-Turbo LS DeLorean

A video uploaded onto the Salvage to Savage YouTube channel details a few bits of information about the build and shows a few bits going on the car, such as the Membrane Restomod Air that will go on to the DeLorean. The video also shows off the Skol alloys that will ultimately be on the DeLorean, and their tires, which are super cool. We see the DeLorean gets cut up slightly to help the widebody kit fit on. It might seem sacrilege to do this to a DMC-12, but this car might have just been rotting away without Salvage to Savage.

Rendering Teases Finished DeLorean Build

The render that Saleem has created and uploaded onto his Instagram page shows off the insanity that the finished product will have. The front sees the biggest change with an absolutely huge splitter attached to the car, which is certainly not a subtle creation, making the DMC-12 look more race car than a road car. That familiar DMC-12 front end is still there though, and then as me move to the wheels we can see the much bigger widebody fenders that now sit over the car's wheels.

The rear of the car also has seen some particularly crazy changes. Some wild, new taillights are now fitted as is a wild exhaust system that has been lit up like a Christmas tree. Again, we can see huge wheel fenders as part of the widebody kit covering those rear wheels, and all of these additions and more combine to ensure this DMC-12 is nothing short of a monster. There is still a fair bit of work to do on the car when we look at the build video, but it looks like the finished product will be rather epic.
