As it is said in the official Porsche press release, when driving Porsche Taycan Turbo S for the first time, Stenson Henrik said, “It’s really special.” When having a ride, he was experiencing a burst of euphoria because of the speed of the car. This is especially unusual for this guy because he is considered one of the most dynamic golf players, who is used to speed.

“The power is there right away and stays the whole time – the car just never stops accelerating. I only know the incredible feeling from a rollercoaster. It really is a rocket,” said Stenson who won the 2016 Open Championship, the world’s oldest golf tournament.

Stenson was driving the car together with his close friend Marcus Larsson. Their combination was quite successful and entertaining: they are both fans of fast cars, have a similar music taste, and enjoyed a camper van trip together. And they both had the same experience with driving Porsche Taycan Turbo S - they were both doing it for the first time.

As it is shown in the video released by Porsche, when driving a car, they were discussing different daily stuff, including Stensons' habits preferences. For example, he prefers highways over offroad and hotels over camping. But when it came to choosing the sea or the mountains he could not make a decision.

The car they were driving is the top version, which produces 761 hp and 1050 Hm of torque. It has a 2.8-second acceleration to 60 mph.

With a quiet ride, the front engine works here. The range Sport mode connects a more powerful rear motor. At this point, the front 2-stage gearbox with a gear ratio of 8 is replaced by a 15-ratio rear.
