The tuning company completed the HPE1000 transformation of the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody by upgrading the high-flow fuel injectors and HPE calibration. They also installed a high-flow air induction system and a crankcase ventilation system. The finished product should be able to deliver around 1,012 hp of max output at 6,500 rpm and 969 lb-ft of peak torque at 4,200 rpm.

According to Hennessey, the HPE1000 upgrade should allow the Hellcat-powered vehicle to sprint from zero to 60 mph in 2.8 seconds and reach a quarter-mile in just 9.9 seconds at speeds of around 141 mph.

To validate the intended results of the HPE1000 upgrade on the project muscle car, Hennessey subjects the Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody to a chassis dyno test and up to 400 miles of road testing. The Sealy, Texas-based company did the road tests at the Pennzoil Proving Ground. The video uploaded on YouTube showed the final test for the white yet muscular Charger SRT Hellcat Redeye Widebody.

Interestingly, the video shows the driver still needs the red key to unleash all 1,012 hp of output. Each Hellcat vehicle comes with two keys: the black key limits the power enough for road use, while the red one allows the Hellcat to go full power. The same setup still holds true in a Hennessey-upgraded Hellcat.
