The Ferrari LaFerrari is a limited production hybrid sports car with a mid-mounted 12-cylinder engine and KERS electric assist drive unit. Produced from 2013 to 2016 in its standard configuration and from 2016 to 2018 as the open-top LaFerrari Aperta, she goes from a standstill to 124 mph in 7 seconds flat.

With her good looks and ultra exclusivity the LaFerrari is one of the fastest and most desirable cars on the planet. It's not often they come up for sale or auction but when they do, they command top dollar. Up for sale today, is a stunning in black on red, and ultra rare example of the open top LaFerrari Aperta with only 1,290 miles on the odometer. Let's see if it's worth the asking price.

With only 210 units in existence, the LaFerrari Aperta is the very definition of exclusivity. The current example is a 2017 model with a series of options adding to its rarity. It has a Pelle Nera Dettagli Rossi Interior, Nero Daytona Exterior and is outfitted with interior carpets in Extracampionario. Other features include a Black Carbon Fiber Hardtop, contrasting Red Brake Calipers, a K40 Radar system, and Carbon Fiber Fog Lamps. The Aperta also includes a Carbon Fiber Lower Kit, Carbon Fiber Outer Mirrors,  Carbon Fiber Wheel Cups, and a Suspension Lift system.

Under the hood, she's all business with a 6.3 liter rear mid-mounted 65° V12 engine generating 789 hp at 9,000 rpm and 516 lb.-ft. of torque at 6,750 rpm. The Hybrid KERS unit adds a further boost of 161 hp for a combined output of 950 hp and 664 lb.-ft. of torque. Getting the power down is Ferrari's F1 style 7-speed dual-clutch transmission.
