Retired in 2017, the Jamaican sprinter Usain Bolt still holds the title for the 'World's Fastest Runner'. The eight-time Olympic gold medalist holds a rare record of winning gold medals in three consecutive Olympics in the 100m and 200m categories. Further, in 2008 he made a double sprint in the record timing that made him the fastest man on Earth. The car collection of this famous athlete is as jaw-dropping as his records.

The car collection of Usain Bolt is quite large considering his stout net worth, and here a look at some of the fastest cars in his collection.

The Nissan MY15 GTR

This car is as unique and rare as its owner. The Nissan MY15 GTR was launched in 2015 as the company's special edition to celebrate its 45th anniversary. Only eighty cars were manufactured with Silica Brass finish and cost $177,000. However, Bolt's GTR was not one of these models.

The Nissan MY15 GTR Usain that Bolt has was specially made for him. Actually, two such cars were made; the Olympic champion owns one, and the other, an exact copy of Usain's car, was auctioned to raise funds for Bolt's charity. The 45th-anniversary edition was named the 'Gold Edition,' and every vehicle in this series was painted in a unique gold-colored paint called Silica Brass. However, Bolt's MY15 GTR is painted red. Other special features include an upgraded LED head and taillights, a new black-colored interior, freshly designed 20-inch alloy wheels, and the special limited production number plate under the hood.

To match the sprint with the world record holder, the MY15 GTR is powered by a 3.8-liter twin-turbo petrol V6 that is capable of producing 550 hp and 652 nm torque. The engine power is controlled by a six-speed dual-clutch transaxle transmission that distributes the power to all wheels. The MY15 GTR can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds. The car engine is featured with a 'Takumi' batch that signifies the name of the engineer who handcrafted the engine.

The Ferrari 458 Italia

Bolt's love for Ferrari is incomparable as he is often seen at Ferrari's test tracks speeding his 458 Italia. This car was launched a year after the Jamaican sprinter made the double sprint victory world record at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. The 458 Italia is undoubtedly one of the best sports cars of Ferrari and was bred using F1 racing DNA.

Inspired by F1 racing technologies, the 458 Italia has a lighter and stiffer chassis that is composed of an aluminum space frame around an aluminum subframe. Having new-age design statements, the Italia also carries cues of classical elements. The car's higher aerodynamic efficiency is achieved by the deeply lowered front end. On the back, single round taillights are featured at the edges and are semi-exposed. But the most notable are the three-outlet exhaust mounted in the middle of the rear diffuser.

This stunning racehorse is powered by a longitudinally-mounted all-aluminum 90° 4.5 L F136 V8 engine that thrusts out 570 horsepower and 398 lb/ft torque. With this engine configuration, the 458 Italia can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in merely 3.4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 202 mph.

The Ferrari F430

As mentioned, Bolt's love for Ferrari is something else, and here's another Ferrari in his garage, the F430. Coincidentally, the F430 is the predecessor of the 458 Italia. Unveiled in the 2004 Paris motor show, Ferrari discontinued this model in 2009.

Ferrari developed the design in collaboration with Pininfarina and was carried over from the 360 Modena. The result was a more muscular stance and aggressive design of F430. F430 shares the same Alcoa Aluminium chassis, roofline, doors, and a glass of 360 Modena, but Ferrari's superior engineering made it more aerodynamically efficient with a moderate drag coefficient. The car sits on 19-inch wheels with five twin-spoke layouts. On the rear side, the taillights were inspired by Enzo Ferrari. The large oval air vents in the front bumper were reminiscent of Ferrari's racing cars from the 60s, specifically the 156 'shark nose' F1 car.

This prancing horse in Bolt's garage is powered by a 4308cc 90 degrees V8 that was specially developed for this car. The rear-mounted engine thrusts out 490 hp and 465 nm of torque. With this power, the Ferrari F430 can do 0 to 60 mph in only 3.6 seconds and can attain a top speed of 315 km/h.

Bolt's hunger for speed doesn't end here; instead, it is just the tip of the iceberg. He has many more fantastic automobiles, such as the Ferrari California, Subaru Impreza WRX STI, and the classic Chevrolet Camaro.
