Fast & Furious is a franchise known for the action, drama, explosions, out of control stunts and gorgeous cars! The franchise is back with another movie that will feature in June 2021. The release date is just around the corner and we cannot wait to see who the team is running from, what gets stolen and the mad stunts they will perform in the new cars.

Everything there is to know about Fast and Furious 9
The movie was confirmed to be released in May 2021 however, a statement read: “It's become clear that it won't be possible for all of our fans around the world to see the film this May. While we know there is disappointment in having to wait a little while longer, this move is made with the safety of everyone as our foremost consideration.”
The date was once again delayed and the new release date for America is June 25, 2021, and it looks like that date is set in stone. UK fans will have to wait a couple of weeks and it should premiere in the UK around July 8th.
There are a few plot twists that are shown in the movie trailer. One is that John Cena’s villain character Jakob is in fact Dom’s brother. We can expect to see Han back and ready for some action! How did Han survive? We are going to have to wait and see but turns out, Letty knew that Han was alive and well.
Most of the main characters are back for the 9th installment. You can get excited to see, Vin Diesel as Dom, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty, Chris 'Ludacris' Bridges as Tej, as well as Tyrese Gibson as Roman. Other familiar faces will be in the 9th movie as well.
1968 Dodge Charger is the new star of the show
Dom's new car in the movie is in fact the 1968 Dodge Charger. There are a few features of this car that is rather special. The 1968 Dodge Charger is equipped with a mid-mounted V8 engine. the suspension has been lowered and it comes with modified front fenders that are arched inward towards the wheels.
To give the car bigger 'hips' the fenders at the back have been widened. If you take a look at the inside of the car, there is plexiglass that separates the engine bay from the driver seat. The inside also has old-fashioned, low-back bucket seats which make the car look even more mean and aggressive.
The nice thing about the back windows is that it makes seeing the engine and exhaust easier for people who are driving past. If you think about it, the cabin must be very noisy when the V8 engine is roaring through the streets!
It is a 426 Hemi powered NASCAR homologation Charger. It is nice to see another classic Charger being part of the movie. It is known that Don is a lover of Dodge so it is no surprise that this classic is going to be the new star of the show!

Besides the Dodge Charger, there are a few other cars that you are going to want to keep your eye out for.
1974 Chevrolet Nova SS:
This car will be driven by Jordana Brewster which is known as Mia. This is one of the few iconic classic cars that will be featured in the new movie.
2020 Jeep Gladiator
Roman will be driving around in this awesome pickup truck. At the moment, this truck is available in two engine configurations. A V6 as well as an EcoDiesel V6 engine.
2018 Noble M600
Last but certainly not least, this is a limited produced Ferrari supercar. It was manufactured by Noble Automotive and it comes with a twin-turbocharged V8 engine. This baby not only looks great but it also roars!
