There are many things about Paul Walker that many don’t know. Nonetheless, those who had been with him while he was alive could clearly remember who he was, whether they be a family member, friend, or workmate. It has been eight years since Paul passed away in a tragic accident involving a Porsche Carrera GT. Some of his Fast & Furious friends remember his death with some tributes on social media.
Vin Diesel: 'Miss You, Pablo'
Paul’s character Brian O’Conner was the other half of the main equation of the franchise; the other half being Dominic Toretto, a character Vin Diesel still plays. In the franchise, Brian and Dom were both friends and family, and in real life, they were pretty much the same.
Vin shared on Instagram a picture of his daughter, Hania, serving as Maid of Honor at the October wedding of Paul’s daughter, Meadow. He then recalled a loving experience he had with Paul, in particular when Hania was about to be born. Vin recalled how “Pablo” provided some experience-derived brotherly advice that helped him “prepare for in the most beautiful way.”
Ludacris Calls Paul The 'Most Selfless Human Being'
Meanwhile, Ludacris started working with Paul on the set of 2 Fast 2 Furious (2003). While Vin was not in this film, Chris "Ludacris" Bridges and Tyrese Gibson showed up, playing as Tej Parker and Roman Pearce respectively.
Also on Instagram, Ludacris shared a picture of him and Brian on the set of 2 Fast 2 Furious. In the post, he described Paul as the most selfless human being [he has] ever encountered. He then urged his followers to honor Paul’s memory by supporting the Paul Walker Foundation.
Tyrese Gibson Reflects On Walker's Passing
Just like Vin, Tyrese Gibson developed a close relationship with Paul outside the Fast & Furious franchise. Like their characters Brian and Roman, Tyrese and Paul were great friends. When Tyrese visited the site of Paul’s car accident, he burst into tears, touching those on the location.
Tyrese posted a video on Instagram, showing a collage of some happy moments with Paul. In the same post, Tyrese had a rather emotional message, saying that he could still hear Paul’s unique laughter in his head, adding that he misses his hugs and sense of humor.
Jordana Brewster Urges Fans To Donate And Help
In the Fast & Furious franchise, Jordana Brewster is Mia, Brian’s love interest and later wife. Her tribute to Paul on Instagram was short, simply asking her followers to the Paul Walker Foundation.
