Own A Volvo? You Now Get Free Towing For Life

Old Volvo

If you own a Volvo in the USA, you now get free roadside towing for life.

Volvo really likes to market themselves as selling boring, safe cars. Not only that, they like to make note of the fact their cars are extremely reliable. Volvo warranties are some of the best in the business, and just a few years ago Volvo started offering lifetime warranties for replacement parts and labor.

And now, on top of that, you can add free towing no matter where you are or how old your Volvo is. In the middle of nowhere in a 1960s Volvo? If you still have signal, call up Volvo customer care and they’ll come to get you, no questions asked.

The program is called Complimentary Tow For Life, and it provides exactly what the name suggests. So long as you’re alive and own a Volvo, you get free towing. This works anywhere in the USA for any Volvo customer.

“Tow for Life ensures that in the event of a breakdown, help is on hand no matter the age of the vehicle,” said Scott Doering, Head of Customer Service for Volvo Car USA, “It’s a commitment to all our customers that cars will be taken to experts who use genuine Volvo parts and repair methods. This will get the customer back on the road faster and provide assurance that the repair was done right.”

To call up a tow truck, contact Volvo customer care at 1-800-550-5658, or through Volvo’s On-Call service in newer vehicles. You and your busted Volvo will get towed to the nearest Volvo retailer that’s part of the program.

Which would be great if you own a 4-million-plus mile Volvo P1800S as Irv Gordon did. This man managed to keep his Volvo going well past when the odometer ran out of digits, and even kept track of his mileage manually using maps and maintenance records.

Gordon sadly passed away last year, but if he were still around, we’re sure he’d have made good use of this new towing service.
