Special editions are sometimes difficult to purchase simply because their numbers don't match the demand. But here's a special edition of the Porsche 911 Turbo S sports car that's difficult to acquire. Why? In order to own one, first a customer needs to purchase one of 10 limited-edition Embraer Phenom 300E business jets.

A Land-Air Duet

Porsche and Embraer Group decided to collaborate to create a Duet between their most prized products. The 911 Turbo S is the most powerful and quickest 911 Turbo so far, while the Phenom 300E is the fastest and longest-ranged single-pilot jet. It's no wonder they're chosen for this Duet.

Since this is a Duet, both the 911 Turbo S and the Phenom 300E need to dress up in uniform, both inside and out. For instance, both feature a two-tone finish of Platinum Silver Metallic (gloss) and matt Jet Grey Metallic (satin gloss) with trim strips in Brilliant Chrome and Speed Blue.

Both also feature a cooperation logo derived from a stylized airplane wing and the Sport Design package rear wing of the 911 Turbo S. Found on various locations of the car, this logo is casted by LED door projectors onto the ground.

Aside from the logo, the Duet editions also have 10 small rectangular fields (representing the production number), one of which is blue. This emblem is found on the B-pillar of the Porsche and on the outside of the Embraer.

Meanwhile, the interior of the 911 Turbo S borrows a number of design elements from the cockpit of the Phenom 300E. It features a red leather loop for folding the front seat backrest, just like on aircraft seats. It also comes with a stopwatch with the cooperation logo and a printed-on artificial horizon.

A red-illuminated “No step” lettering – derived from aircraft wings – is found on the door sill trims. Featuring the Carbon interior package, the cabin features combined black and chalk-colored leather wraps, with the black leather surfaces decorated with Speed Blue stitching.
