Have you ever looked at a Humvee or tank and thought, "yeah, but it isn't enough"? If so, the Sherp All Terrain Vehicle might be right for you. This off-roader is ready to take on the elements in a way no other vehicle can, as YouTubers CboysTV quickly found out during their test drive.

SHERP: $100,000 Russian-Built ATV

The Sherp is a Russian-built ATV that debuted in Moscow back in 2015 at an off road vehicle expo, and very quickly gained international recognition. Sitting at around seven feet tall, the Sherp is fitted with absolutely massive 65-inch tires. These tires are capable of self-inflating, giving over 25 inches of ground clearance, and can even be used in water. Powered by a 1.5 liter turbodiesel motor, the Sherp only makes 44 horsepower and 88 ft-lbs of torque.

Equipped With Five Gas Tanks

The Sherps in the video come from UpNorthOutdoors in Minnesota and they are treated more as off-road toys than anything else. The owner described them as "its a boat, and a truck, and a four-wheeler, kinda everything in one basically" as he readied to thrash the Sherp through a series of trees surrounding the property. Although not highway legal, the Sherp can go for incredibly long distances between fill-ups with its four wheel-mounted 13 gallon tanks in addition to its nearly 16 gallon tank.

Two Body Styles Tested

Once handed the keys, YouTubers CboysTV took off through the woods to have some fun. Climbing over boulders, trees, and even cars, the Sherp pushed on with no signs of stopping. With two body styles, the Sherps that were tested can work multiple jobs with ease as well as being fun (and very expensive) toys. On solid ground, the Sherp is nearly unstoppable. One of the boys said "you wouldn't want to be going this fast in anything else out here."

All-Terrain Monsters Costing Up To $126,000

via YouTube

While many ATV vehicles are capable on land, the Sherp is a true all-terrain monster. The large paddle-shaped treads on the tires work as oars in the water, and the tank steering works perfectly for quick movement in the water. With a top speed of around 4 miles per hour, the Sherp easily bashed through the frozen lake surface and easily swam around. "Driving it goes against everything we've ever been taught". Interested in buying one? The Sherp starts just under $100,000 and goes up to $126,000.
