We've all heard the saying "more money than sense" when we see people driving exotic supercars at high speeds recklessly. When we hear that, we're usually saying that people shouldn't drive aggressively and that they'll more likely than not get into a car crash. Often, people will end up crashing exotic cars because they can't handle their power and performance and total the cars as a result. However, when we see it happen, such as in a recent case involving three Ferraris, it's a different story entirely.

Fast Ferraris And Poor Driving Don't Mix

According to user @SaintLamont_, who uploaded footage of the accident to Twitter, the incident occurred while the Ferraris were heading to the annual CF Charities Supercar Show in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The event, hosted to raise money for different education groups, brings in drivers and cars from around the country to show off to the public. Many drivers convoy together in small groups to make an entrance when they arrive.

In a video we see multiple high-performance cars and supercars cruising quickly past other traffic, with notable vehicles like a Porsche GT3 RS and Vipers making their way towards the Wells Fargo Center for the event.

Reminder That The Road Isn't The Track

via Twitter

Very quickly you begin to see something go wrong. The video shows performance cars flying down the road much faster than regular traffic. However, you can quickly spot that two of the Ferrari 488s up ahead are having an issue.

The highway in Philadelphia is known to be uneven, harsh, and filled with potholes, all of which spell disaster for an exotic car. Quickly, one of the Ferraris looks to lose traction entirely, swinging wildly sideways into another Ferrari. Seemingly bouncing off of the car, the 488 then swings back across the other side of the lane into a 488 Pista, which caused it to also lose control.

In the span of maybe two seconds, all three Ferraris are seemingly pushed towards the outside wall under an overpass with the cars facing various directions. Thankfully, it does not look like anyone was seriously injured in this accident, but it very easily could have hit the other people just driving on the road as opposed to only hitting the other two on the way to the show.
