The internet has completely revolutionized the automotive industry. From the ability of consumers to avoid dealerships during fears of a global coronavirus pandemic to the wide availability of aftermarket parts and knowledge, car content of all types is now easily accessible with just a few clicks of the keyboard. Few companies have capitalized on the revolution as successfully as Hennessey Performance, the famous Texas-based tuners who must have a few geniuses in the marketing department to go alongside the maniacs modding all their cars. Hennessey's latest effort comes in the form of a video proving that the installation of the company's C8 Chevrolet Corvette exhaust upgrade should be a relatively easy process.

Watching, Waiting

Even though the world anxiously awaits Hennessey's long-promised twin-turbocharged C8 Corvette, which has been teased extensively but not fully made available for orders, Hennessey has been cranking out related Corvette content in the interim. First, a NOS-powered Hennessey C8 broke 200 miles per hour, then a couple of C7 examples went out for track testing. Hennessey wants everyone to know the company is still selling all kinds of upgrade packages other than the C8 twin-turbo setup, including the exhaust upgrade for existing C8 owners.

Hennessey claims the package will increase performance by a dyno-documented 21 horsepower and 19 lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels. Meanwhile, the system weighs 11 pounds less than the C8 Corvette's factory exhaust. And given that the installation tutorial video only lasts just under eight minutes, there's a good chance that more mechanically inclined should be able to make the swap in their home garage.

Hennessey claims the package is 50-state compliant and comes with a lifetime warranty, with pricing currently set at $2,995 for the first 100 orders and $3,495 for anyone who doesn't jump quickly enough.
