While the house of the prancing horse might be doing all it can to hide its latest and perhaps most controversial creation, one keen-eyed car spotter has just uploaded a video revealing the shape and sound of the new Ferrari Purosangue SUV. This vehicle has been in the works for years after Ferrari finally caved to pressure and prevailing market trends, but we've never heard or seen such a clear image of the car during testing. We're here to show you that video and breakdown what we know about this new chapter for the Italian brand.

Ferrari Still Hasn't Confirmed The Pursosangue Engine

After seeing the car in the above clip, we can tell that previous renders haven't actually been all that close. In fact, it seems like this SUV is a bit more of a CUV in terms of overall styling. Is it possible that Ferrari is going to make wagons great again? Probably not, but they're also not letting anyone else in on the truth about the engine in the Purosangue.

You'll notice in the clip many are debating the sound we hear of this car so we'll go ahead and go on record as saying we think it sounds like a V8. It's not that we don't want a V12, it just doesn't really have the same hum, and frankly, wouldn't make as much sense in a car like this as a V8. We can't wait to see it uncamouflaged.
