Rimac Automobili has been alternating between big marketing pushes and periods of discrete silence for the last few years as the Croatian company builds towards the official release of its forthcoming electric supercar. A recent video posted on YouTube fits into the former category, revealing two test vehicles in some of the clearest, most impressive shots yet. During a track day at the Automotodrom Grobnik, in Čavle, Croatia, the two supercars flog the circuit showing off their potential in a big way.

Serious Power And Performance

Rimac's spokesperson in the video, Miroslav Zrncevic, is a test and development driver. He explains that the track day was set up to put the C_Two through its paces. One car, specifically, will focus on fine-tuning suspension settings to perfect handling. The other, meanwhile, will be experimenting with the C_Two's active aerodynamics system, adjusting and analyzing various settings to optimize airflow and downforce in the groundbreaking electric vehicle, which pumps a mind-boggling equivalent of 2,000 horsepower to all four wheels.

The revealing video features angles of the cars from the front, rear, and sides, plus a few shots from the driver's perspective during hard cornering that features full-on opposite lock. While each car is testing its own set of parameters, without adjustments to other facets to create a more controlled experiment, both look and sound pretty impressive throughout the clip.

Rimac's description that accompanies the video describes that the C_Two's final production-spec design to be officially unveiled at the 2020 Geneva International Motor Show, which begins on March 5. At that time, the C_Two moniker will also be dropped in favor of the model's finalized name. The video also explains that part of the goal of the recent testing was to ensure that the torquey supercar drives well at slow speeds, as well as in performance settings, for anyone worried about their own capabilities more than the cars.
