The reveal of the well-hidden Chevrolet mud-truck by YouTuber Cleetus McFarland showcases some of the dirt and grime that his viewers expect. He has had the car for over a year, and it by no means belongs in a showroom. Cleetus bought the car for $20k, and you can see the rust spots all over the truck, but so far it has been quite reliable. He has been able to right overturned trucks, go mud-bogging, and—as seen in the video—even rip down buildings.

Unveiling The Magnificent Mud Truck

The truck came from a friend of JH’s so it was a solid buy. Cleetus knew he was getting a reliable Duramax engine, with someone who knew how to work on it. The car comes with 5-ton axels, and CNC 20-inch shocks among other things. The power for the no-name truck comes from a 600-hp Duramax engine. This all compares to JH's own mud-ripper, and as is typical in traditional car culture, the first thought that comes to mind is drag racing the two trucks.

The race begins with a dead-even start as both trucks launch the same off of the line. But as the race continues, JH begins to pull away, and he never looks back finishing the race in first place.

After suffering a defeat in the drag-race, Cleetus heads over to a small shed to showcase the pulling power of his mud truck. The poor building that is to be pulled down is the downtrodden racer shack, when people would go to sign their leases and complete business before taking to the track.

Smashing buildings is one of Cleetus' many fortes, and his excitement is clearly evident on his face. Actually taking the building down took a couple of tries, but the end result was still the same. There’s even a slow-motion shot of the shack ripping off its base and shattering. After that it was onto some drifting, burnouts, and most importantly, some jumps.

While Cleetus continues to claim that he did not buy a monster truck, his team begins to set-up a jump for the power-loaded Chevy. And in beautifully poetic slow-motion, Cleetus jumps his truck quite the distance. Now that the truck has been unveiled, the possibilities for it are endless, and Cleetus states that now he can shoot all of the mud-bogging that he has been keeping to himself.
