The Ferrari SF90 Stradale is considered the ultimate expression of the Italian carmaker's engineering brilliance. It's Ferrari's most powerful production car so far, thanks to a hybrid system delivering 986 hp (1,000 PS) of combined output and 590 lb⋅ft of torque. Thus, it's tempting to see how this Italian horse would perform on the road. Thankfully, Brooks Weisblat of DragTimes was able to drive one and capture its performance on video.

DragTimes Goes To Puerto Rico For An SF90 Stradale

Weisblat himself is an owner of several supercars, including a Ferrari F8 Tributo. He recently took delivery of a McLaren 765LT, which he claims is able to generate around 865 hp on the crank. It's a true monster, but the SF90 Stradale should give the 765LT a good run for its money. After all, it shares a name with an actual Formula 1 car, the SF90.

Thus, when Weisblat had the opportunity to get behind the wheel of an SF90 Stradale, he didn't bat an eye, even if this meant he had to go to San Juan, Puerto Rico. It's a thousand-mile flight from Miami, Florida, where Weisblatt is based, but an invitation to drive an SF90 Stradale is hard to resist. In another video, Mr. DragTimes cannot hide the excitement from his face.

A Supercar Convoy Through Puerto Rican Mountains

Driving in a convoy of supercars and hypercars that include Ferraris, McLarens, Lamborghinis, and many more, Weisblat found himself behind the wheel of the SF90 Stradale. To squeeze a good level of performance, the SF90 Stradale convoy went for a drive in the mountains.

The twists of the uphill and downhill roads are a good venue to test not just the power, but also the handling and dynamics of the SF90 Stradale. Being Mr. DragTimes, Weisblat just had to measure the quickness of the SF90 Stradale through quarter-mile runs.

9.62-Second Quarter-Mile Run On The Road

Weisblat drove the SF90 Stradale to a couple of quarter mile passes. Measured via Dragy, the SF90 Stradale zoomed from nil to 60 mph in 2.35 seconds. With a one-foot rollout, the sprint time is 2.17 seconds. Quarter-mile times were consistent at 9.6 seconds, the quickest of which was 9.62 seconds. To note, these times were made on the road, not on the track or strip.
