The Nissan GT-R is also known as the Godzilla of the automotive world. It is also known as the supercar killer. But TheStradman’s GT-R has gone beyond killing supercars; this Nissan is now capable of slaying hypercars such as a Bugatti Veyron. A Tesla Model S Plaid is another monster, and a race against TheStradman’s Bug Killer was bound to happen.

TheStradman’s GT-R Is A Bugatti Killer

YouTuber TheStradman, also known in real life as James Lucas Condon, owns a Nissan GT-R that received an incredible tune from Precision Performance. TheStradman tapped Precision Performance to transform his GT-R into a machine capable of slaying his own Bugatti Veyron on the quarter-mile track.

But it pales in comparison to TheStradman’s Bug Killer GT-R, which Precision Performance has tuned to deliver 1,565 hp, which is around 1,000 hp more potent than a base GT-R. On paper, TheStradman’s GT-R has become powerful enough to defeat a Bugatti Veyron in a straight line.

Next Target: Tesla Model S Plaid

Nevertheless, TheStradman’s GT-R proved that it could slay a hypercar by racing against his very own Bugatti Veyron. It might be at least a decade old, but the Veyron is still a hypercar that was once the fastest production car in the world. Its 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged, W16 cylinder engine can deliver around 987 hp of max output and 922 lb-ft of peak torque.

The Veyron was no match for the Bug Killer; it looked like a turtle trying too hard to catch up with a hare. But a Tesla Model S Plaid is a different story. It has also slain various supercars on the quarter-mile, thanks to its three permanent-magnet synchronous AC motors delivering 1,020 hp of max output and 1050 lb-ft of instant torque.

The Bug Killer lined up for a rolling contest against a gray Tesla Model S Plaid. According to TheStradman, he wasn’t really confident in beating the Tesla; saying that while his GT-R is a fast car, he is not a fast driver.

Nonetheless, the GT-R managed to outrun the Model S Plaid on the rolling race, leaving a big smile on TheStradman’s face. Well, a drag race as a rematch would be interesting.

But TheStradman is still not done with his Bug Killer. He wanted to give it some proper tires and more upgrades. He is also considering a higher tune.
