Besides being awfully trendy these days, lifted trucks have their advantages. You can see traffic better from afar assuming there are no low underpasses, you can drive over boulders, and if you're not a fan of Mini-Coopers, a roll of one of those gargantuan wheels will solve that pesky problem. Oh, and depending on the vehicle undergoing that height alteration, a lifted truck can look downright awesome. But they do have a considerable number of disadvantages, such as being difficult to park, are next to impossible to drive on narrow roads, and—as this video demonstrates—are awfully hard to get into.

Cab's Roughly Five Feet High

Judging by her smile, it appears that the woman in the video is a good sport about all this, having to contort her way from the ground to the cab that's at least five feet up. We first see her reaching up to put her belongings on the truck floor, before pulling herself up on the power step, where she's at least able to kneel.

Then she stands on that rail and steps into the cab. It took roughly seven seconds to pull that off, while still being able to turn around to smile at the cellphone videographer documenting the task. Easy peasy, but the jury's out on whether that will boost sales of lift kits which have experienced periodical booms since the 1980s.

Reddit Responders Unleash Some Hilarious Comments

Funnily enough, before the segment showed up on Reddit, a Tik Tok user originally posted this video with the comment "Guess her height," suggesting maybe the truck wasn't as high as it appeared to be. But seeing that the truck's body didn't seem to be in any way distinctly smaller than a Dodge RAM or Ford F-150, that's an argument easily tossed aside.

Meanwhile, on Reddit, a few couldn't resist the hilarity of the moment, including one respondent who remarked "I was waiting for a rope ladder or something to roll down."

Another view saw the irony of owning such a high-end vehicle by writing "Awfully bold of you to assume trucks aren't luxury vehicles [unto] themselves these days."

Suspecting the truck doubled as a way for the owner to screen dates, yet another participant let fly this zinger: "He literally can't pick up girls that aren't in good shape, since they can't get in his truck."

Granted, you need some degree of fitness to get into a lifted vehicle, especially if it doesn't come with a retractable power step unit. But the difficulty of entrance and exit from said vehicles aside, lifted vehicles are so popular, they're expanding beyond trucks to include sports cars and even Winnebagos. For now, when it comes to driving from a high place, the sky's the limit.
