10 GMC Hummer

via Motor1

It's been more than a decade since the Hummer name disappeared from the car world, but this year we are pleased to say it's back in a slightly different form. The latest Hummer is made by GMC and rather than being a big gas guzzler like it was before, it's now a fully electric pickup/SUV. It is a very futuristic looking vehicle inside and out and the performance figures are scary.

The top model will have 1000hp and a reported crazy 11,500 lb-ft of torque. That means that this huge pickup can do a 0-60 in 3 seconds. GM has also made this truck an absolute beast off-road, so much so that it can even "crabwalk" whereby both wheels turn 10 degrees and the car can move diagonally in sticky positions. It also has something called an Infiniti roof which sounds cool. There are just so many jaw-dropping facts about this new car.

9 Lucid Air

This is a car many people have been waiting for, and it's almost here. The new Lucid Air will be a major rival for the Tesla Model S, a car that the CEO of Lucid Motors, Peter Rawlinson, personally worked on. The top model of the Lucid air is expected to do 517 miles on a single charge, and it has 1065hp making it capable of hitting 60 in 2.5 seconds. What a beast!

The Air is an extremely aerodynamic car and that's Lucid's secret weapon in increasing the range of the car. Though we are surprised to see wing-mirrors on a car that had so much development in the wind tunnel. It's a car we're really looking forward to in 2021.

8 BMW IX

The new BMW IX is BMW's third electric car, and it is a very strange thing. The face is extremely controversial and the rest of it looks like a blob. It's not a very attractive car at all, but it does have a few weird features that some may find interesting. Inside it has a curved display, a hexagonal steering wheel, and a lot of weird materials.

The interior of this car looks really cool, but it doesn't really feel luxurious. It feels like BMW is trying just too hard to impress environmentalists. It even has sensors inside instead of buttons. The whole car looks and feels weird.

7 RAM 1500 TRX

One of the few non-electric cars on this list and no, the TRX isn't some environmentally friendly hybrid either. It's a big 6.2-liter Supercharged V8 pickup truck with 702hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, so it's pretty much the opposite of anything that is good for the environment. This beast weighs almost 3 tonnes, yet it hits 60 in under 4 seconds.

It is an absolute monster, it has more gadgets than any other truck out there, and it's an absolute titan off-road. It can wade almost a meter, and it has an 11.8-inch ground clearance. It also has 9 driving modes and inside it has a 12-inch touchscreen. By far one of the baddest trucks of 2021.

6 Nissan Ariya

Nissan's first electric SUV is amazing, and it looks so futuristic. The interior is described as a "lounge" by Nissan. The interior is pretty futuristic, but it's not over the top. The lights on this car are pretty cool too. It can be driven using only one pedal, and it has an inbuilt passenger on board called Alexa.

The Ariya is a pretty cool SUV with a lot of character. It is certainly different from the norm and the base MSRP will be under $40,000.

5 Toyota Mirai

Toyota is still making hydrogen-powered cars, despite the terrible infrastructure that surrounds filling your car up with hydrogen. It's a very luxurious car with prices starting at just under $50,000. The latest Mirai has a few cool features too including its interesting way of creating electricity via its fuel cell.

It is a perfectly good car if you live in California, elsewhere it's practically useless. The Mirai also has a pretty nice interior too. It's not as futuristic as some electric cars, but it's practical. Here's why hydrogen-powered cars are better than electric cars.

4 Tesla Cybertruck

The Tesla Cybertruck is the weirdest truck ever. It looks like a house on wheels, and it's made from cold-pressed stainless-steel, so it's not painted. In the sun it looks like a chrome spaceship rather than a traditional pickup truck and inside it's so sparse that it looks like it's been designed by an architect.

Tesla will even launch alongside the Cybertruck a new Cybertruck inspired ATV as an optional extra. This strange pickup may just put other manufacturers out of business as it costs under $40,000 base, yet it looks cooler than most supercars.

3 DS 9

autoexpress.co.uk

The DS9 is DS's new flagship luxury sedan, and it's an extremely interesting luxury car. Inside it has a lot of triangles, even on the digital dash and the center touchscreen. The center console has a lot of angular buttons and the stitching on the stitch is done in the pattern of irregular shapes.

It is a unique car and on the exterior, the taillights are up on top. It's a very understated luxury car mainly because nobody knows what it is.

2 Fiat 500E

magazinauto.com

The new Fiat 500 is here, and it's electric. This new city car is a very stylish car and it very much looks like a designer car on wheels. This city car is more likely to be seen in places like Paris and London rather than Bolton and Detroit. The 500E is unlikely to come to the USA though, but it might since Mini has launched their electric supermini in America.

Its interior is nicely laid out to with plenty of storage spaces and the steering wheel is very minimalistic. It's a fashion icon in this car, we're surprised Gucci or Versace haven't featured it yet on their catwalks.

1 Lotus Evija

Lotus is bringing out their latest hypercar this year, and it is insane but unfortunately, many people won't be able to afford one of these beasts as it costs over $2 million which is about the same as a small house in Beverly Hills. Only 130 will be made and all are essentially sold out. It's a crazy car with almost 2000hp, and it does a 0-60 of under 3 seconds. It's so fast that it will probably rip your face off.

Via Carscoops

It looks like a hypercar, and it feels like a hypercar. Inside it has an awesome interior with honeycomb-like texture touch buttons in the center console. The steering wheel is also square like every other new modern fast car and apparently is better for driving. The Austin Allegro had a square steering wheel so does that make it a driver's car? We all know now what car started off the trend of square steering wheels, and it certainly wasn't a fast car.
