Mecum Auctions is one of the best auction houses in the United States, and they often sell quite a few great cars. Currently listed is this 2009 Dodge Viper SRT-10 ACR. But this is no ordinary Viper SRT. This is an ACR Hurst 50th Anniversary Edition Dodge Viper with just 1,460 miles on the clock. According to Mecum's listing, it's the only ACR to have the Hurst Anniversary Package.
Full Details On This Viper
This is a truly remarkable machine. The Viper is a 2009 model, and it is part of 50 overall Hurst 50th Anniversary Viper’s that were ever built. Crucially, though, the listing claims this is the only ACR Viper equipped with the Hurst package.
Not even 1,500 miles are on the clock with this car, so it is pretty much as new condition. Mecum expects to have this Viper go under the hammer at their Kissimmee auction in January 2022, and it would be a surprise if this particular Viper did not go for big money.
A Certificate To Prove Its Authenticity
To prove that this is a Hurst Anniversary car, the Viper comes with a window sticker and a Hurst Certificate of Authenticity. Under the hood of the Viper is an 8.4-liter, 600 hp V10 SFI engine with a six-speed manual transmission.
To make shifting gears even more special, the Viper comes with a Hurst shifter that sets it apart from a standard ACR Viper. There are plenty of Hurst details inside the car. Such as Hurst embroidered into the seat backs and a Hurst Anniversary Limited Edition badge affixed into the front of the car. The interior comes upholstered in Black and Tan premium leather.
Further Details On This Special Viper
It isn’t just the interior that has seen special Hurst alterations, either. On the outside, the Viper has a fully adjustable and carbon fiber rear wing, as well as an adjustable carbon fiber front splitter as well. The car is in Viper black with Gold Hurst stripes across it, and there are gold-trimmed Hurst polished aluminum wheels on the outside as well.
Those wheels sit inside four Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Finally, there are two-piece lightweight slotted brake rotors on the Viper as well. This is an incredibly special and unique Viper, and no doubt will be a star attraction at the Kissimmee auction.
