If anyone has been a breakout star on the hit car show Car Masters: Rust to Riches, it is Constance Nunes. Besides being a definite looker, she’s the real deal. She’s the only female engine specialist on the team at Gotham Garage, and she has a great no-nonsense attitude in the shop.
Though she’s relied on her looks in the past (which we’ll get into), she definitely doesn’t for the show. She’s a serious and talented mechanic and we’ll argue that she deserves her own spin-off show because of it.
Car Masters is extremely popular, and it’s possibly the highest-rated car-based reality show out there. It currently sits on an 8.8/10 score on IMDb, which is even higher than legendary shows like Top Gear and The Grand Tour (which both have 8.7). So, clearly, the show is doing something right that is appealing to viewers, and Constance Nunes is a big part of that.

She Knows How To Market Herself
First off, before Car Masters, Constance Nunes was once a model. Many people have tried to become models, but it’s a cutthroat industry where marketing and image are key, and clearly not everyone makes it. Being able to market herself is one huge way that her own show could really take off.
Constance has over one million Instagram followers, and that’s a number that’s growing daily. That makes her a verifiable social media star and influencer. A TV show of hers would undoubtedly be popular because she’s already shown that she can make it in a guy’s world. As her Instagram page says, she’s “just a glam girl wrenching in a boy’s world,” and she’s a positive influence for girls everywhere in that respect.
Not many women have had their own car shows. Yes, there is All Girls Garage, which did very well, but Constance Nunes could create her own brand around her spin-off that would propel women even further in the reality TV car scene.

Constance Nunes is no stranger to being in front of cameras, and in fact, she thrives in that respect. Many male presenters are awkward and there are just so many of them, so she could add a fresh face to the scene like she’s done with Car Masters.
While the Netflix show isn’t her first time in the spotlight, it is the first time she’s stepped into the world of TV. But her future there is bright. As a model, she’s appeared at the Grand Prix of Long Beach (as a car model), and she’s also appeared in print campaigns for Jockey, Wrangler, and Feral Cosmetics. She’s been in commercials for Motorola and even for Kim Kardashian’s mobile game, Hollywood.
As for sponsoring, she’s sponsored huge brands on her Instagram page, ranging from Rockstar Energy Drinks to JLUXLABEL clothing to VP Racing Fuels. Companies can already see her dynamic representation as a good thing for their businesses, and that would only increase with her own show.
She Demands Respect
Constance Nunes is a person who knows what she wants and she knows how to get it. She demands respect in the garage and in everything she does in life because she’s knowledgeable about her craft.
Confidence is key for her, and that would play well as a TV presenter. She’s earned the respect of the crew in Car Masters by tackling tough jobs and doing some great work on cars. She’s earned her title of “engine specialist,” and her own constant project, her 1964.5 Mustang she endearingly refers to as Babystang, is a testament to her build capabilities.
As she said in an interview with Maxim, she’s also confident in every aspect of her life, even when it comes to something like dating. “I’m pretty upfront. If I’m interested, I will tell you to your face I want to talk over a drink and then make out.” That transparency could serve her well on her own show!
Long History In The Automotive Industry
One of Constance Nunes’ best traits is that she’s worked very hard to get to where she is. She isn’t a “made-for-TV” prop like some other women in the industry. As she told Carlyle Motors, she started working on cars young, as a family activity. “I grew up building cars my whole life,” she said. “My dad was a drag car racer, and our whole family is into building.”
That’s where her love for automobiles comes from, and why she continuously tries to improve and restore her Babystang and will never part from it, taking it through constant phases (and posting about it on her blog and Instagram) to restore it to its original glory, but also make it better.
And that’s what Constance Nunes has to offer: She can take something that’s already there, like a basic reality car TV show, and make it better.
