Tesla advertised the Model 3 as "the safest car in the world." They do have a point as Tesla has the highest honor from the Institute of Highway Safety (IIHS) and the Model 3 was awarded "good" in all six IIHS tests therefore it comes under the IIHS top picks for safety. It was the safest car ever tested by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) which is saying something. The second safest was the Tesla Model S and the third was the Model X. This brand cares about safety.
