The rise of the 1969 Dodge Charger to popularity might be thanks to its role as General Lee in the Dukes Of Hazzard television series. Nevertheless, it does have the goods to back up its surge to fame.

Most 1969 Chargers still exist to this today thanks to either meticulous care or great restoration jobs. Now up for sale at RK Motors, this 1969 Charger dubbed as the Beast is a dark restomod regalia, and it has the goods to back up its name.

A 1969 Dodge Charger With Menacing Black Looks

Wrapped in black PPG two-stage paint finish, the Beast features a front end donning a silver classic 1969 Charger grille with the “Charger R/T” script, fratzog-branded parking lamps, a scalloped hood black wipers and a windshield glass framed in black.

Other exterior details of the Beast are trick mirrors, Kindigit door handles, a camo-ed fuel filler and massaged door scallops, as well as custom, fully integrated deck spoiler, factory taillights and Charger emblem. The rear end features a shaved bumper, reverse lamps and blacked-out exhaust tips.

Completing the exterior looks of this 1969 Charger restomod are Forgeline wheels measuring 18 inches front and 19 inches rear, as shod with Michelin Pilot Super Sports rubbers.

A Charger Restomod With Beastly 600 Horses

This dark 1969 Charger is actually a result of a ground-up restoration that took around 4.5 years to complete (finished in 2021). Center to its Beast moniker is 528-ci Ray Barton Hemi engine providing 600 hp of output. Complementing this mill are dual Edelbrock 4-barrels, a lightweight aluminum intake, aluminum Ray Barton heads and Ray Barton valve covers.

Distributing power to the wheels on a Dana 60 axle is a modern Tremec 5-speed gearbox from Silver Sport Transmissions. The restomod also features reinforced chassis and welded frame connectors. An upgraded suspension lowers the Charger by two inches.

Featuring power rack-and-pinion steering, the 1969 Charger restomod owes its stopping power to 20-piston Wilwood calipers. The restomod also has aluminized pipes formed on an X-shaped crossover and Dynomax mufflers.

A Sinister Black Leather Cabin With Camaro Seats

Inside, this 1969 Charger restomod features customized leather cabin, with a diamond-stitched Camaro seats, body-matched dash and a carbon-look instrument panel. The interior also features vintage air conditioning, a radio delete and classic instruments. The driver gets to play a Billet Specialties Formula steering wheel and a Pistol Grip Shifter.

According to RK Motors, the builder spent more than $100,000 just for the parts of this 1969 Charger. Asking price for the Beast is $199,000.
