Seeing a 6x6 vehicle on the road is an amusing sight. After all, it’s normal for people to see just four wheels on their drives. Nevertheless, 6x6 transformations look amazing when done right. Someone has converted this Rolls-Royce Phantom into a 6x6 off-roader – a creation that is highly likely to receive mixed reactions. But for Dominika “Domi” Sofroniciova of Supercar Blondie, this Phantom 6x6 is a real beast.

A Radical Custom Work From France

Parked in the garage of Cardip UAE, this Rolls-Royce Phantom is a creation of Alexandre Danton who is a self-taught artist specializing in customizing cars. He started this vocation around 15 years ago, completing around 47 custom creations in his château in Ardèche, France. His creations included a Landrover Defender 6x6, a Ferrari Modena transformed into an SP2, as well as a Lamborghini Espada rat rod.

It’s easy to guess that Alexandre might have already earned the ire of carmakers, especially Ferrari, for his radical customization work. One of his latest works is this Phantom 6x6, which he created using a 2005 Phantom as a base. From there, Alexandre borrowed parts from other cars, including the rear axle of a 2005 BMW 7 Series. He first had to cut apart and then extend the Phantom, resulting in a 6x6 creation that measures 6.3 meters in length and 2.3 meters in width.

6x6 Enigma Solved: Wider And Longer

Exterior features of this monster-like Rolls-Royce Phantom 6x6 include side skirts, a huge roof rack, a front bumper bar, and a tow hitch, as well as a massive LED bar on the windshield. Providing the Phantom a wide-body effect are custom-made aluminum front and body fenders. They matched to a set of massive 24-inch wheels with gold-plated brake calipers thereby providing a menacing contrast to the car’s matte black finish.

The Phantom 6x6 also features yellow headlights and a blacked-out whole front grille. Inside, this enigmatic Phantom 6x6 employs bright orange leather upholstery. Interestingly, Alexander wrapped the steering wheel in crocodile leather and upholstered the center console with snake leather.

Power for this Rolls-Royce Phantom 6x6 comes from the 2005 model’s 6.8-liter V-12 engine that delivers up to 453 hp of output and up to 531 lb-ft of torque. This standard Phantom engine received no mechanical modifications from Alexander although a not-so-standard gold leaf covers the engine.

Alexandre spent a year planning everything and then worked for three months to complete this creation. He is hoping to sell the 6×6 Phantom for $5.2 million.
