The Internet has done a lot of strange and cool things for our species. For one, it made it so videos of a smashed Porsche Gemballa Mirage GT hobbling around Manhattan could be viewed by millions only minutes after its tattered remains came to rest. On another end of the spectrum, it allowed radio host Alex Hirschi to reinvent herself and become the automotive blogger we now know as Supercar Blondie.

Updated August 2020: Supercar Blondie is taking the world by storm, and her car collection is only getting bigger. In the past couple of months, she has purchased two brand-new extravagant cars, and she might be on her way to purchase a third by the end of the year. To find out what she keeps in her garage and plans spending her money on next, keep reading.

And because Australian-born and Dubai-based Blondie has no trouble leveraging her 20 million followers to get behind the wheel of the fastest and most beautiful cars this world has to offer, we can assume that what she keeps in her garage represents peak automobile—the result of careful curation by someone whose supercar palate is as refined as it gets. Or does it?

1st Car: Mitsubishi Lancer

What many don't know about Supercar Blondie is that, before she bought any supercar, she used a Mitsubishi Lancer to traverse her home turf of Queensland, Australia. As an inexpensive alternative to the legendary Lancer Evo, the Lancer boasts an aggressive look and an engaging driving style like its more powerful brethren. It’s easy to see how the Lancer laid the foundation for Blondie’s love of driving.

“The best thing about driving supercars is the way it makes me feel,” said Blondie during an interview with Forbes. “It’s so much fun that I often find myself laughing behind the wheel. I’ve always loved driving, even when I was driving my very first car — a Mitsubishi Lancer.” Thanks to a love of the open road that the Lancer sparked, we now live our supercar fantasies out through Supercar Blondie’s YouTube channel.

2nd Car: BMW i8

Of course, Blondie’s supercar story didn’t really start until she packed her bags and moved to Dubai, one of the few places on Earth where Porsche 911s and Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglios are considered basic. Once she got a foothold in her new career, Supercar Blondie leapt past her Lancer days, bought herself a BMW i8, and decked it out with a gray and black color scheme and neon yellow accent stripes.

Though the i8's outlandishly futuristic looks allow her to blend into Dubai streets with ease, the 369 horsepower its hybrid drivetrain puts out pales in comparison to the Koenigseggs and AMGs she drives on the Gram. But that doesn’t make it a bad purchase.

On the contrary, the i8’s drivetrain is simply a preview of what’s coming to the supercar world, giving Supercar Blondie insight into the cars she’ll one day be featured on her channel. But once she got a taste of that, she got rid of the Beemer and stepped her car game up a notch.

3rd Car: Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4

Technically the Lamborghini Huracan gets its name from a famous fighting bull as all Lamborghinis do, but its name also means “Hurricane” in Spanish. When considering that the Huracan LP610-4 routes 610 horsepower to all four wheels using a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, enabling neck-snapping launches as the 5.2-liter V10 tries to match gale winds, you can see why Lamborghini picked a moniker with those dual meanings. And due to the Huracan's outrageous wedge-shaped body and the wail it emits from its quad-pipe exhaust system, it’s just as easy to see why Supercar Blondie bought one to replace her i8.

As a sign Supercar Blondie had settled into the Dubai lifestyle, she promptly named her Lamborghini “Lucy,” sent it to CarDip for a custom paint job that took three weeks to complete, and then decked it out with a custom steering wheel that seems to be inspired by the Batmobile.

4th Car: Rolls Royce Wraith

This year, Alex decided to sell the famous "Lucy" in order to spice things up a bit with a brand-new $380,000 Rolls Royce Wraith Black Badge she bought sometime in May. The super-luxury coupe trumps the likes of the Bentley Continental GT, and pretty much any other car in the segment, providing ultimate luxury married to extreme performance. Courtesy of a 6.6L V12 engine, the Wraith develops 624 horsepower and shuttles to 60 mph in about 4.4 seconds - an amazing feat for a 5400-lb monster.

Recently, Alex did what she does to most of her expensive cars and gave her stunning Wraith a makeover by hanging a bottle of green paint above it and letting it swing as it releases the bright green stuff all over the $380,000 car. Expectedly, we don't think she was too thrilled with the result.

5th Car: McLaren 720S

We've been waiting for Supercar Blondie to finally come through with a new supercar for months now, and in July, her McLaren 720S finally arrived. The $300,000 supercar is the perfect track monster and features a 710-horsepower engine capable of reaching 60 mph in 2.9 seconds. There's even a special body kit in the making for this thing, and Alex promises it will be cooler than anything we've ever seen on this car.

What comes next?

The problem with Supercar Blondie’s job is that it makes it hard to stay in love with one car for too long. That’s why she recently put Lucy on the market and is waiting to fill the empty spot in her garage with something else. But what could that be? What could someone who has driven cars as exclusive as the Bugatti L'Or Blanc and the Pagani Hermes Edition possibly want to drive next? All we can do is guess, but Blondie may have given us a hint in a recent video. In it, she drives to a Tesla dealership and puts down the $100 deposit required to reserve the Tesla Cybertruck.

Given that the Cybertruck features a powertrain and technology from the future, has looks that could make her i8 look dated, and can launch from 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds thanks to a tri-motor setup, the Tesla would certainly fit her MO.
