Bodybuilder and fitness YouTube celeb Kali Muscle is exactly what his name implies. First, there's that physique that boasts powerful contours along the lines of Ferrigno and Schwarzenegger. And then there's his taste in cars—muscle cars, naturally—one of which he gifted to a friend on an episode that aired Wednesday. Fasten your seatbelts, folks, to gauge the reaction of his buddy when he was presented with a 2021 Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye.
One Of The Best Muscle Cars Of 2020
First off, unless you're fully loaded financially with a slew of friends to satisfy, you don't just give away a Challenger to just anyone. This recent addition to Dodge's muscle car family comes with a Hemi-supercharged 6.2-liter SRT V8 engine that sends to the wheels 717 horsepower and 656 pound-feet of torque. Throw in an eight-speed automatic transmission and this Redeye doesn't look too shabby taking on the asphalt.
And with these Dodges going for more than $72,000 a pop, it's not just the available power that's the draw for muscle car aficionados. The 2021 Challenger also comes with a lux interior with such bells and whistles as an 8.4-inch touchscreen display that can access the likes of Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additional upgrades include track-time monitoring plus WiFi hotspot and navigation integration. It's little wonder why auto pundits declare this Redeye as one of the best muscle cars of 2020.
Signing Papers And Making Thumbprints
But Kali must be doing very well for himself to warrant getting a Challenger for his best friend Myles. Heading down to the dealership, Myles picks out the green Hellcat and it wasn't long before Kali helped close the deal, including some security protocol.
"You gotta get your thumbprint to get one of these, man," noted Kali while Myles rolls his digit in the ink. "Social security card, passport, mother's maiden name... " Still, the process seems worth it once they pick up the Hellcat, which roars to life once Myles gets it started.
This Redeye Handles And Brakes Well On The Road
Once behind the wheel, Myles is impressed with the handling and speed on the highway. "Oh, yeah, that's right, get out of the way!" he yells at a driver ahead of him. "We're really going, fish is flying, brakes are good, they're tight. This is great!"
"Who made this legal?" asked Kali when the pedal's pushed to the metal. All of which may or may not be explained in a future episode.
